What we offer

The Wellbeing Service is an NHS community-based collaboration supporting people from age 4 years upwards in Brighton and Hove who have mild to moderate depression and anxiety.

We see people with:

  • Depression

  • Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

  • Low Self Esteem

  • Adjustment Disorders

  • Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)

  • Coping with illness/chronic health conditions (e.g. diabetes, cardiac, respiratory)

  • Health Anxiety

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Panic Disorder

  • Single Event Trauma resulting in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Social Anxiety

  • Specific Phobias

Types of support we offer:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Counselling, including Specialist Counselling for the Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) community

  • Groups to help with such issues as worry and anxiety

  • Brief Interventions offering practical support, advice and information
